EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
Do you have an espresso machine at home, but find that the lattes you make don't quite measure up to the ones you get at a cafe? It turns out there is a lot of thought and work that goes into such a small cup.
Loveland Brew School is here to help you step up your latte game! Loveland manager and Columbia's only SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) Certified Barista & Service TechTravis Hoyt will teach you how to grind, measure, tamp, and pull shots that unlock the unique taste of the espresso blend. He will also teach you how to steam milk with the perfect texture and create latte art that looks as good as it tastes!
You will get to go behind the bar at Loveland Cafe to not only watch Travis work his magic, but personally practice on our equipment with his supervision. This class will be limited to 8 students, and will happen when the cafe is closed, so that each student will receive quality, undistracted instruction. Students will also receive a free coffee drink and bag of Loveland's espresso blend, Gray Ghost!
